For the second year running, ITV1’s top cop drama fended of rivals for Best Drama at this year’s star-studded Inside Soap Awards. The Bill’s senior producer Tim Key was over the moon with the achievement: "We're delighted to win the Best Drama award for the second year running.
It's a tribute not only to our fantastic cast, but also our wonderful production team and crew.”
After the obligatory presentation the more important part took place: partying with celebrities from soap-land ‘til the small hours, at Camden’s Gilgamesh restaurant where the ceremony took place.
With a special message for the fans, Tim added: “We'd like to thank everyone who voted for us. We're hugely proud of the show at the moment, and we've got some brilliant stories coming soon - so keep watching!"
